• The Fourth International Workshop on the Science and Conservation of Horseshoe Crabs builds on the successful foundation established by its predecessors, the International Symposium on the Science and Conservation of Horseshoe Crabs in New York, USA (2007), and the Second and Third International Workshops on the Science and Conservation of Horseshoe Crabs in Hong Kong (2011) and Sasebo, Japan (2015).

• This Fourth International Workshop will be held on June 15-20, 2019 in Qinzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. The Workshop will be hosted by the IUCN Species Survival Commission Horseshoe Crab Specialist Group, organized by Beibu Gulf University, Guangxi Biodiversity Research and Conservation Association, Guangxi Key Laboratory of Beibu Gulf Marine Biodiversity Conservation, and Guangxi First-Class Aquaculture Platform (Incubation) at Beibu Gulf University. The conference venue will be at Beibu Gulf University, and field excursions will be taken place in Beihai City.
